Architecture & Access works with architects and building owners who are providing a Changing Place in developments such as swimming pools, shopping centres, community and transport hubs.
To ensure community expectations are met, facilities must be assessed and accredited in line with specific technical requirements. Accredited facilities can display the Changing Places signage and be registered as a Changing Place on the National Toilet Map.
The features of Changing Places include a peninsular toilet, an adult-sized change table, a ceiling hoist, a clean environment and enough space for a person who uses a wheelchair, and up to two carers.
Architecture & Access has the expertise to assess Changing Places for accreditation.
We provide design and project management services to ensure your Changing Place meets technical requirements for accreditation.
